This role:
Will be responsible for gathering project information to complete the Solar Design phase and below is a list of some of your duties:
- Roof Measurements
- Shade Analysis
- Electrical details
- Taking photos
Essential functions:
Must begin each day from our office in Livermore and would include (but not limited to):
- Reviewing survey details from the sales and operations team before appointments.
- Engage with customers to answer project questions and relay requests.
- Gather all project information… photos, roof measurements, SunEye shade readings.
- Full communication and evaluation details with Site Engineer Supervisor and Project Leader regarding home and equipment details that impact the project.
- Analyzing Solmetric SunEye data and processing shade reports.
The ideal candidate:
Will have 2 years of Solar experience held in one of the following areas:
- Site Survey
- Inspections
- Installation
- Operations
- Project Coordinator
- Design or equivalent
Must be:
- Detail-oriented and accuracy (mission-critical)
- Able to work on high ladders and comfortable working on roofs.
- Efficient with computers and using technology in the field.
- Excellent mathematics skill set.
- Battery experience a major plus as we survey battery back-up projects as well.

This role:
Will be responsible for inspecting newly completed installs to assure they are ready for local inspection. Some of your duties would be:
- Communicate with internal staff about final inspection timelines
- Prepare completed installation for inspection by the local Building Inspector
- Able to perform basic electrical tasks if required; breaker installation, ground bonding, labelling
- Ensure solar system operation, review system operation (on/off procedure) with customer
- Communicate corrections to project manager to schedule correction and coordinate reinspection scheduling
- Collect full payment once inspection permit approved by AHJ inspector.
The ideal candidate:
Will have a minimum of 1-year of solar installation along with basic electrical wiring experience. Other attributes would be:
- Detail-oriented and accuracy a must
- Effective communicator
- Able to work on high ladders and comfortable working on roofs

This role:
will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing customer systems. Some of your duties would be:
- Remote troubleshooting of solar systems
- Working closely with monitoring companies to diagnose problems
- Remote communication with onsite service technicians to assure the system is online
- Schedule services with the customer

This role would take on the control of the day-to-day financial responsibilities. Some of your duties would include:
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of accounting activities including all accounts receivable and accounts payable financial transactions and data entry into QuickBooks Online (moving to NetSuite)
- Manage monthly accounting close cycle; prepares month-end financial statements, reconciles accounts, and processes bank deposits.
- Analyze, review, and audit overall general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable systems.
- Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports; prepare reports required by regulatory agencies, banks, and other external parties for both financial operations and audits
- Coordinate preparation of company and departmental budgets and forecasts
- Carry out billing, collections, and reporting activities with specific deadlines
- Manage monthly accounting close cycle; prepare month-end financial statement, reconcile accounts, and process bank deposits.
- Prepare and send out estimates, progress invoicing, and statements to customers and process cash, credit, and finance payments and bank deposits.
- Send documents and communicate with company CPA
Prepare and assist with all matters related to collections - Reconcile and process invoices, prepare checks for signature on a weekly basis
- Prepare financial statements and reports such as monthly revenue and expenditure reports for the management, as requested.
- Oversee purchasing and budgets and support inventory management.
- Maintain vendor records, including tax ID information and end of the year 1099 issuing
- Maintain and implement filing and document tracking and management systems.
- Respond to and resolve customer and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Perform other general accounting and clerical tasks as needed.
- Maintain calendar with important renewal dates.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelors or Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field/job experience
- 5+ years of experience as a bookkeeper preferably in a construction-related field
- Must have extensive experience with payroll, financial statements, bank reconciliation, and general bookkeeping.
- Accurate and timely data entry skills, attention to detail, confidentiality and thoroughness.
- Demonstrates knowledge of statement of financial account standards (SFAS) rules and generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP)
- Demonstrates experience with processes including A/R, A/P, progress invoicing, and Payroll.
Strong experience and knowledge with QuickBooks Online. - Strong and creative problem-solving skills.
- Decisive and critical thinker with the ability to identify errors and solve problems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Excellent written/oral communication. - Ability to learn at a fast pace, take notes, and ask questions.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
